This is a sample of a search-revised product description for handmade wood chains for the retailer Bloomist. Note that this revision incorporates search research and is a revision of the description provided by the retailer. These descriptions were intended to increase search term frequency while privileging the integrity of the product description. Following my work, organic search traffic increased by 30% over six months.

We designed these handmade, wood chains with Bloomist collaborator Hilary Robertson. They’re inspired by pieces in her personal collection. Each wood chain is hand assembled and whitewashed, so natural variations and markings will occur.

Atuto Founder Holland Millis has worked with skilled craft-workers in Honduras for decades. A former Peace Corps volunteer from North Carolina, he leads the Atuto group in Sabanagrande, Honduras, which produces pieces made from clay, metal, stone, fiber, and wood — like this wood chain.
